Bereavement is the experience of losing someone or something important to you.

Grief describes the process and range of emotions we go through when we experience loss.

Everyone experiences grief differently.

Bereavement is an emotional and personal experience. Loss can be a challenging aspect of life that can be overwhelming at times, impacting your thoughts, emotions, health, and relationships.

You may be feeling a range of emotions such as (but not limited to) sadness, confusion, anger, guilt, shock, disbelief, loneliness or relief. Feelings can come and go in waves, and grief is often described in stages. However, grief isn't linear and doesn't follow a straight line. It might even feel as though it wont get better.

Grief can feel isolating but you don't have to go through it alone. I can offer you a safe space to explore your emotions and support you with patience, empathy and compassion.

There is no "right" way to grieve, and although it may never truly go away, grief can become easier to manage over time.
